Our Method
Learning online has become the most flexible way to study — and, done well, one of the most effective. But a method only works if it adapts to the person in front of you. That is where we start.
Finding the right rhythm
Every learner moves at a different speed. Some need repetition before things settle; others want to push ahead and be challenged. Some learn best by speaking from day one; others need to listen for a while before they feel ready.
Our job, in the first sessions, is to work out your rhythm — and then build the course around it.
This is not a fixed programme that you have to keep up with. It is a course that moves at your pace, adjusting as you go. If something needs more time, we give it more time. If you are ready to move on, we move on.

How we teach Italian
Our approach follows the natural process of learning a language: listen, repeat, understand, practise.
Listen. You start with the sounds and the music of Italian — the rhythm, the stress, the way words connect. Before you produce a language, you need to hear it properly.
Repeat. You begin to speak, imitating what you hear. Mistakes are part of this stage, not a problem in it.
Understand. Once the sounds feel familiar, grammar starts to make sense — not as abstract rules, but as the logic behind something you can already hear.
Practise. You use the language in real conversation, on topics that matter to you: your work, your travel, your interests.
Alongside your live sessions with your dedicated teacher, you have video lessons, exercises and free resources to use between classes — so the learning continues even when we are not together.
We teach at every level, from complete beginner to advanced, and we build the content around why you are learning: for work, for study, for family, or simply because you love the language.
How we coach individuals
Coaching starts from where you are — not from where a model says you should be.
In our sessions we work on three things: clarifying what you actually want, understanding what is getting in the way, and building a practical way forward.
We use established coaching frameworks:
- GROW — a structured way of moving from a vague sense of “something needs to change” to a concrete plan: Goal, Reality, Options, Way forward.
- The Wheel of Life — a tool for stepping back and seeing which areas of your life are getting attention and which are being neglected.
- Emotional intelligence work — understanding your own emotional responses, and those of the people around you, so you can act rather than react.
But the tools are not the point. The point is the conversation. Coaching works because you are talking to someone whose only job, in that hour, is to help you think clearly — someone with no agenda of their own.
How we coach organisations
We also work with companies and teams.
With managers and leaders, we work on the things that rarely get taught: how to give feedback that lands, how to hold a difficult conversation, how to motivate people who are not motivated by the same things you are.
With teams, we work on communication and collaboration — understanding why people who all want the same outcome can still misunderstand each other, and what to do about it.
Sessions can be delivered one-to-one for individual managers, or in small groups. We shape the programme around what your organisation actually needs, after talking to you about it — not from a catalogue.
What we believe
Learning a language and changing how you work are more alike than they look. Both need structure — a method, a sequence, something to hold on to. And both need to be personal — because a structure that ignores the person in front of it will not hold.
We try to give you both.
